This kimono has gone through several rounds of transformation! It started out as a white tablecloth I found at a thrift store. I made a kimono from it, but the color - a sort of dingy off-white - really bothered me. So, I dyed it black. I was hoping for a rich, deep black, but ended up with gray instead! Since there’s nothing more boring than gray, the transformations continued. Using bleach and autumn leaves, I created an abstract pattern, and then, with the help of bright paints and leaves again, I added a print. The result is vibrant, featuring an autumn palette. It practically screams, "I love autumn!"
Size: From armpit to armpit - 77 cm/30.3 in. Length - 70 cm/27.5 in.
Care: Washing: Machine wash 86°F/30°C, delicate.
Drying: Air dry.
Ironing: Iron on the reverse side, using a medium-hot iron or a steamer.
