The philosophy behind Ecovest
Giving old textiles a second chance at life.
All the garments you see here were once home textiles or thrifted, previously worn clothes. I purposеly do not use new materials, because I believe that the world needs to be more rational in a matter of resourse consuming. In my work there is no greater joy than watching the transformation of things, how they acquire a new look and meaning. Each garment is unique, has its own story and character. I hope that after finding their owner, they will have a long and happy life. :)
Our packaging
Ecovest’s packaging has the same philosophy as the product itself – using materials rationally and being sustainable.
I don’t use plastic bags or standard paper tags; Ecovest's bags are made out of the fabric left over after the process of garment creation. They’re reusable and can be utilized for anything, not just for clothes. The tags I use are made out of recycled paper with the addition of flower/plant seeds and can be planted, not just thrown away and forgotten. Just rip it up, put it in soil, water it and it’ll start sprouting in a little over a week!
